Beaujolais

Made from the Gamay grape, Beaujolais is fruity and light. It is low in alcohol and relatively high in acidity, and is meant to be drunk young. (Beaujolais lacks tannins so will not age well.) It should be served slightly chilled. Beaujolais Nouveau is a very popular wine.
